Protecting My PC

Monday, March 15, 2010

It was just last month that I reformatted my PC. I was hit by a virus so hard that I have no choice but to reformat it. Unfortunately, I had to reformat my PC thrice because of my wrong installation of its operating system.

Now, I am planning to install scanning software just to make sure that there are no viruses, malwares or adwares installed accidentally. You never know what site you are visiting that might install bugs on your PC.

I have to protect my PC since this is my bread and butter. How about you? Do you do your best to protect your PC?

Work Space

Tuesday, March 9, 2010

Finally it has been decided. If we get to close the deal with the land lady of the house we wanted to rent, we will be moving to our new home by the 28th of this month. And that means my older children will have a room of their own which also means I will have the master’s bedroom as a working space of my own!! Yehey!!

Anyway, I am planning to buy an office furniture so that I could create my own work space. As a stay at home mommy that earns online, I need to have a serious place to work where my children needs to respect that space.

How about you? Do you have a work space?

I don’t remember the title of the movie I saw when the actor said that weddings is one of the most profitable business in America. The actor said that many people spend time and money making it perfect from the engagement and wedding rings, wedding napkins, the wedding place, reception and the entourage but after a few years of marriage, the couples ended up in a divorce. Couples spend time making the wedding right but does not spend the same effort in making marriage work.

Well, as for me, I never knew that weddings in America are a serious business. I just thought it is how they spend it that way and I think it’s magical and sweet. But as the actor pointed out that couples don’t spend that much in keeping the marriage work just as they did when they tried to make the perfect wedding, well, I guess it is just too bad. I myself has been married for 10 years and sometimes wished to give up on my marriage but still I find myself doing every effort in making our marriage work.

Anyway, speaking about weddings as a business, I saw a lot of people that is now doing this. They make a living in making your wedding perfect and I guess they are called the wedding planners. They organize everything for you and some say it’s a good business.

How about you? Do you think there is money in weddings?
